PROFESSIONAL FOCUS

Finding a good fit is important when sharing life’s obstacles. It is always Lisa’s aim to work alongside you, at your pace. Lisa works with adults and older adults dealing with stress, anxiety and low mood, relationship struggles, experiences of grief and loss, or navigating transitions and challenges in their lives. Learning more about your perspective and focusing our time together on your goals is key to her work with you.

Lisa’s approach centres around the theme of resiliency, is strengths-based and uses harm reduction strategies. She uses elements of solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices.

Her style is structured and supportive, being able to relate and use humour.  From her own experience with therapy, Lisa knows how important it is to laugh at yourself sometimes, and how impactful therapy can be.

WHAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT LISA...

I’m an avid reader, and believe in advocacy and supporting my kids to be resilient, independent, go getters – by starting a jewellery business making earrings that I wear proudly! I’m also really good at picking up their lost socks!
